Something Meaty

This was an awesome photo shoot! Retha was such a great sport, she is actually a vegetarian so at first I felt bad that she had to model meat for me BUT she told me as long as she doesn't have to eat it.. it's all good :) We have to compile a FEDISA cookbook where our models wear food instead of clothing or food combined with clothing - interesting? I think so.

This one is my latest creation :) My first elasticated skirt so I must say I am quite proud! Hope you like it.. BUT first my inspirations :P

I finished this one early so I decided to get a head start on my next one -> patterns and mock up done and dusted :D The next one has a few beads as well as a little more detail so I am really excited to see what it will look like when I'm done... 


Off day tomorrow.. Wait.. "Off" day. Greeeat O_o Lots of work to do. The only thing keeping me sane is the thought of me watching comedy festival on Friday with my best friends! Yay :) Can't wait to see Pablo Francisco. He.is.awesome!!

I just LOVE chiffon.. but working with it? Not so much.. no, not for me. It looks so pretty though so I am trying my best not to tear it up O_o We are only making 8 outfits now due to limited time (we were originally going to make 9) so that is a load off. Tomorrow I am doing my FEDISA cookbook photo shoot :) My model will be Retha Nortje, a beautiful old friend of mine. We have to use food instead of or combined with clothing. I am using MEAT! Grrrr.. Hope I get some good shots. Will post 'em as soon as I am able to. Have a lovely week ♥
